Opening round table - Responsible globalisation: our diversity is our asset
This session will inaugurate the works of the Forum, presenting the philosophy behind the Forum and its challenges.
Representatives of the main groups of actors (political leaders, business leaders, NGOs, trade unions…) will give perspectives on the joint project at the heart of the Forum.
The guiding principles of the Forum will be explained:
- The commitment to constructive debate, with respect for different points of view
- The commitment to steer debate towards real practices and to produce ideas for concrete action by all partners
- The 2006 Forum is to be seen as the beginning of a collective learning and building process, led by multi-actor partnerships.
