    Inaugurant les travaux du Forum, cette session présente la philosophie du Forum et en rappelle les enjeux. Elle permet à des représentants des grandes familles d’acteurs (responsables politiques, entreprises, ONG, syndicats…) de donner corps au projet collectif qui sous-tend le Forum.
    Elle est l’occasion d’en préciser les principes directeurs : la volonté de conduire des débats constructifs dans le respect de la pluralité des points de vue, l’ancrage des réflexions dans des pratiques et la volonté de parvenir à des propositions d’action impliquant les partenaires, un processus collectif qui vise à devenir un laboratoire permanent d’initiatives et d’expérimentations.

A participative Forum
The participants are invited to express themselves during the debates. At the end of each workshop, they write down their reflections on working themes and the ways to implement them. These contributions are synthesised, presented and discussed during the reporting sessions and also during the plenary sessions.

Conclusions and commitments
This session concludes the works of the Forum, highlighting the key elements of the debates and drawing some initial lessons. It also gives the opportunity to outline new avenues for the Forum, in particular:
- setting a course for future works of the Forum,
- announcing the launch of multi-actor initiatives and cooperation projects, and upcoming events of the Forum partners,
- inviting debate on the objectives and themes of the 2008 Forum.

9:30-1:30 - Town Hall of Lyon

Several working groups bring together the Forum partners as well as actors involved in the initiatives launched during the Forum. These working groups aim at:
- defining the methods for he implementation and support of the announced initiatives,
- elaborating themes proposals for the 2008 edition of the Forum’s programme.

Citizens, companies and international institutions may participate in the Forum, on October 26 and 27. In addition to participating on the days indicated above, the Forum’s partners can also attend the evening opening event on October 25 and contribute to the “Perspectives” morning event on the 28th. Secondary-school pupils and university students can register for the plenary day, October 27.
