The assets of humanity: world cultures and wisdom in action: the tangible and intangible
In view of the growing demand by civil society and institutions for dialogue, and the desire for new policies and forms of governance in the decision-making process, as concerns the shared assets of humanity, international actors are participating in the analyses, experiences and actions organised by a network taking the form of a festival, known as “globalisation with a soul”, based on intercultural dialogue. The friendly atmosphere touches all sectors and all actors. The idea is to welcome a globalisation which is pluralistic and respectful, which takes into account the role of world cultures and spiritualities as an active component of development, on the same level as economic and social aspects ( with the intervention of chorists of « Phenomenon » and « Balkanes »).
With a speech of Sylvie Mauchamp, founder of the “Festival de Bourgogne World Sacred Musics”, punctuated with two artistic groups and a musical time.

2006 Manifesto: “Citizens of a fragile humanity” by Economie et Humanisme
Since its creation in 1941, the association “Economie et Humanisme” has contributed to develop ideas and methods for the promotion of a shared sustainable socio-economic development. E&H will present its 2006 manifesto: “Citizens of a fragile humanity”, which includes themes along the same lines as the Forum’s ones. An outline of the fields for action will be proposed. Through the strong commitment it asserts, this manifesto is closely akin to the preceding ones: “Facing the world’s chaos” in 1942, “For a solidarity-based civilisation” in 1959, “For a liberated humanity” in 1976.

Dependency and autonomy, flexibility and security: What future for labour relations? Economically dependent work in Europe: Italy, Ireland, Poland and Portugal.
Dependency and autonomy, flexibility and security: what future for labour relations? Globalisation and changing forms of regulation drive companies to seek flexibility, while workers feel a greater need for security. Observing practices and regulations implemented in China, France, Estonia, Latvia and Italy has led us to explore the future of labour relations in three areas: who acts at what level? on what? how? One form of dependency, economically dependent work, has been analysed in four European countries (Ireland, Italy, Poland and Portugal).

Socially responsible managers towards a responsible globalization
The international Initiative for the social responsibility of professionals and managers (website www.responsabilitesocialedescadres.org) aims at promoting the conditions of exercise of a professional responsibility taking better into account the societal and environmental stakes. More than a question of ethic, it is a matter of questioning administrations and companies’ management and decision making tools and criteria. A real challenge for initial training of managers-to-be and for professional training of active managers.
